Wendy Hammers

Last year. Ms. Hammers had Pancreatic cancer. This year, she’s in this show. This is better. TV: Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos, Oprah, Craig Ferguson. Theatre: Grey Nomad (ATC), undressing new jersey (Drama Logue), Laughing Wild (Drama Logue), and a national tour of her solo show Ripe, which the LA Times called: part stand-up confessional, part booty shakin’ biography. Wendy is committed to sharing the plays’ message with women everywhere: Life is really, really short, so celebrate it while you can in the body you have, at the age you are right now. As a producer: As founder of Tasty Words Productions, she has produced, curated and hosted over 130 evenings of theatre which celebrates hilarious and horrifying true life stories from a host of famous and infamous writer/performers.  She is honored and delighted to be Co-producing VDay Santa Monica for the third time with her sister from another mother Deborah Kagan. www.wendyhammers.com.
