Holy Fabulousness! 2017 is coming to a close and I am humbled. This year has brought many new opportunities, expansion (personally and professionally) and the manifestation of some long time goals. It’s been a wild ride chock full of emotion – across the board.
Overall, I sit here flooded with awe and gratitude for YOU…the #mojolicious tribe that’s been witness to and/or participating in the evolution of my path. My goal has always been to support you in any way I can. Your success and happiness is what keeps me going. Your joy brings me joy. Your potent mojo fuels mine.
Each time I work with you, whether it’s in person or virtually – I know what a gift you’re giving me. I realize that you’re allowing me to hold space for your greatness. I am fully aware that you are trusting me to guide you and see the bigger picture when you feel small, scared or simply lost. Thank you.
As you may know, I’m a big fan of ritual. Marking moments with consciousness allows for clarity in what we’re creating. With the turning of another calendar year, it’s a good idea to reflect on what you’ve accomplished, where you are now and where you’re going in 2018.
Here are a few ideas for you to close out 2017 and usher in 2018:
Get Naked. Take a blank (naked) sheet of paper and a pen you just dig. For three minutes write nonstop about all the things you’ve experienced in 2017. Write out all the milestones. What wins did you have? What losses? What excited you and made you giddy? What moments made your heart break? Once you’ve written it all out, take a deep belly breath. Scan the list. Let it sink into your consciousness and then move to the next step.
Burn Baby, Burn. After reviewing your list, see what qualities are associated with the losses or the places you felt didn’t go as planned. Were you more stubborn than necessary? Did you let fear paralyze you more often than not? Identify the main qualities you’d like to release from 2017 and therefore shift into 2018 unencumbered by them. Write these on a new piece of paper in any way you see fit. Then, hold the paper in your hand and close your eyes. See your body opening up little doors to release these qualities. Maybe they’re coming out of your hips, your brain or your heart.
Finally, grant them permission to leave you and burn the paper.
Watch Me Grow. After the fire releasing ritual, fill in the room you’ve created in your consciousness with what you’d like to expand in 2018. Maybe you’d like more patience or a new sense of gratitude day to day or to become more generous. Write these things down on a new piece of paper. Take it and either bury it in the ground outside your front door or in a potted plant inside your home. Allow the earth to swallow these ‘psychic seeds’ and trust they will grow in your life.
Mapping the Course. We can get grandiose with setting goals and that’s the reason most people will fall short. Is it important for us to stretch? ABSOFRIGGINLOOTELY! However, if you set a goal that you can’t connect with sensorially then it’s bound to pass you up. Get really clear on up to FIVE things you want to create in 2018. Make sure you can feel, sense, taste, smell or see them ACTUALLY manifesting. Go slightly beyond what you feel is possible. Write them down and keep them in a special place (I put mine in a Chinese Red Envelope and keep it on my altar for the year). Then take measurable actions to achieve the goals and simply let the universe rise up to offer them to you.
Home Base. We all have a place/location that resonates with our ‘deep self.’ The spot in the world where we can connect with our soul and know all things are possible. For me, it’s the ocean. No matter what’s going on, I can always go there for an instant reminder that we’re all connected. It never fails to open my heart and bring loving tears to my eyes. If you can, take a moment to go to your home base place this weekend. If you can’t get there physically, how about googling a photo and teleporting yourself for a few minutes. Know you are safe, loved and whole just as you are.
HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!!
Big love,
