For years and years I heard people explain the benefits of gratitude.
They would talk about how important it is to be grateful.
Keep a gratitude journal.
Wake up and say what you’re grateful for.
Before you close your eyes say what you’re grateful for.
Share your gratitude with others.
On and on and on.
And I’d do all of the above—but it never felt quite real.
It wasn’t until my life was in a state of significant breakdown that I understood the power of gratitude.
It was the only thing that shifted me from the fear and freak out happening.
The more I literally felt gratitude, the more clear it became.
The more I focused on the bazillion things to be grateful for, the bigger breakthroughs began.
The more I let simple things melt my heart into a mushpile of gratitude, the more abundance poured in.
When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.
